Two World-Firsts
Fifth edition. One perfect day on the Plan du Fou — soft snow, blue skies, and a face loaded with hand-built jumps. Twelve men, six women, and a session that rewrote what's possible on skis.

Tiemo went off
German-Canadian Tiemo Rolshoven came to send it. His standout run said it all — a massive backflip straight off the top, another one, a 20-metre double cork 1080, and a 360 to cap it at the bottom. No hesitation. Just commitment.

The first-ever triple backflip
Then Jake Müller dropped in and made history. Off the Mad Mount Hotel kicker, he sent a 25-metre triple backflip — the first ever landed in a backcountry freestyle comp — then two more backflips before the bottom. Five flips. One run. The 19-year-old walked away with second and a piece of history.
Austria's Sebastian Mall rounded out the men's top three with a stacked run: nose butter 360, cork 720 blunt, backflip mute, and a 360 off the rail.

The women made history too
Twice — and both off The North Face kicker. Astrid Cheylus became the first woman to stomp a double backflip in competition, riding away clean to a roar from the crowd. Minutes later Mila De Le Rue answered on her final run: a smooth 360 into a double of her own, her first ever, and enough to take the win ahead of Astrid.
Eva Battolla locked down the podium with a backflip, flat 360, and one more flip to close.

Five editions in, still sending
A triple backflip. Two doubles. And Jordane Legal going for a triple frontflip off the Focus Water kicker — didn't land it, but that's exactly the point. A crew of the world's best pushing each other with no pressure, no points — just the best day the mountain would give. That's the whole point.
