The place
Ushuaia is the southernmost city in the world — where the Andes finally end and drop into the Beagle Channel. The end of the road that somehow feels like a beginning.
Founded as a penal colony, shaped by Patagonian winds and the culture of people who chose to stay at the edge of the continent. The streets are lined with seafood restaurants serving freshly caught king crab and centolla, Fuegian lamb slow-roasted over an open fire, and local craft beer. Boat trips along the Beagle Channel, the Tierra del Fuego National Park, and a sky that turns extraordinary at dusk.
There's nowhere else in the world quite like it.

Gonzalo Lopatín, co-founder of Freeride Argentina and IFSA international judge, and Tomás Castelli, a Ushuaïa-born freerider who knows Cerro Martial like the back of his hand, have spent years building freeride culture from the ground up in the Andes.
